I chose this video because it shows some insight into the aftermath of the earthquake, including people in need of help and buildings that are destroyed.  The damage done to the buildings is devastating.  It seems like everyone is in some sort of shock and that there is nowhere to go except on the streets.  There are people just lying on the streets in need of help, but no one is able to help them.  There is a short clip showing the Port Au Prince Police Station which looks damaged and abandoned, so I don't know if government officials have set up a central command somewhere else or what, but I'm sure there is a lot of chaos.

This image shows a devastated neighborhood on a hillside in Port Au Prince.  It looks as if all of the houses except a few were completely flattened.  What this can tell us is the extent of the damage and it gives us a realization that it will take a long time to clean up and re-build.  Part of the reason why the damage may be so bad is because of how poorly the buildings were constructed.  A challenge of the relief efforts is how widespread the damage is.  Port Au Prince is a large city and it will be very difficult for everyone to receive help immediately.
